The fourth short film from Ibis Films suffered an extremely protracted production schedule. Many experimental and personal projects get put on the back burner when other work, jobs or opportunities demand a higher priority. All Good Things is a prime example of things getting pushed to the farthest back burner; when new creative and lucrative opportunities presented themselves, they had to be pursued and ultimately made the production delays feel justified.
All Good Things represented a series of firsts for the Ibis creative team. We acquired and managed a larger budget and worked with more seasoned, experienced actors. In another first, we produced the sci-fi short from a script penned by a writer not part of the core Ibis team. Finally, we utilized techniques new to the team at the time such as prop fabrication, extensive bluescreen shooting and digital set construction.
